The Queensland Government is proud to support the 2022 Land Forces International Land Defence Exhibition, hosted in Brisbane.
Queensland has Australia’s largest concentration of defence facilities and personnel, with a world-class industry supply chain – supported by top global suppliers and innovative local small-to-medium enterprises.
With a strong defence industry base and capabilities in a range of areas, from heavy vehicle manufacturing and upgrades, through to autonomous systems, hypersonics and cyber security, Queensland is positioned at the front line of the defence industry in Australia and we are a growing centre for innovative science and technology.
That is why we continue to partner with leading global companies such as Rheinmetall Defence Australia and Boeing Defence Australia who are at the forefront of next generation defence technology.
The Queensland Government is committed to supporting the continued growth of the sector, with the Queensland exhibition stand showcasing the largest contingent of Queensland organisations to-date.
It is all part of delivering on our Queensland Defence Industries 10-year Roadmap and Action Plan.
Our vision is to expand the State’s recognised defence industry capability and increase its presence domestically and internationally, so we become the preferred location for the next generation of defence projects.
Hosting Land Forces 2022 is another investment in the future of this sector, providing a platform to showcase our capabilities, innovation and to attract investment.
On behalf of the Queensland Government we look forward to welcoming delegates and exhibitors from across Australia and the globe to Queensland for a successful, productive and safe Land Forces 2022.
I invite visiting guests to stay on to explore Queensland’s world-class tourism attractions most of which are just a short flight or drive away.
