PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The LAND FORCES International Land Defence Exposition is a key meeting hub for Australian and international industry, defence, academia and government.

A premium platform for engagement, LAND FORCES 2022 will incorporate a specialist conference program, industry exhibition and networking functions as prime opportunities for engagement in the interests of defence capability.

The comprehensive conference program will run on all three days of LAND FORCES 2022 and will present leading experts in their fields covering topical land defence issues, innovations, program updates and visions for the future.

AusTsec

Wednesday 5 – Thursday 6 October 0930-1500

The Australian Training, Simulation and Education Conference (AusTsec) is a program first for LAND FORCES in 2022.

The conference will host leaders in defence training and simulation who will share their thoughts for the future of training in the Australian Defence Force.

AusTsec will explore how training requirements inform development of simulation technology and systems, and will detail recent innovations in capability and application.

Tuesday 4 - Wednesday 5 October

The Australian Association for Uncrewed Systems (AAUS) is Australia’s largest industry advocacy group for uncrewed systems representing all three domains: land, sea and air.

Long-time LAND FORCES conference partner, the AAUS will once again present a comprehensive program of leading uncrewed and autonomous systems experts covering topics from emerging technologies, innovation and regulatory considerations, primarily within the Defence setting.

Innovation Awards

Tuesday 4 October 1300-1400

The LAND FORCES 2022  Innovation Awards were created by the AMDA Foundation Limited to recognise and reward innovation by Australian individuals and organisations at the forefront of defence innovation in products, services and business processes in the land domain.

Innovation Pitchfest

Thursday 6 October 1000-1200

The Pitchfest is a popular part of the LAND FORCES Innovation Program with up to 30 ‘pitchers’ selected from industry, government, research and academic sectors and given 3 minutes to deliver an elevator pitch to a mixed audience of potential partners, customers and venture capital funding sources.
